CORPORATE PROFILE

The WhiteStar Corporation began as a "basement business" in January 1990. The firm originally provided consulting services to integrate digital cartographic data into the exploration branch of the oil and gas industry. In the process of satisfying our customers, we discovered the enormous need for nationwide databases of high quality, plug-and-play map data and quickly moved in this direction.

WhiteStar is now a leading supplier of digital cartographic data to the oil and gas, pipeline, natural resource, and engineering industries. The corporation has yearly revenues in the millions of dollars. WhiteStar's products are installed in a variety of companies ranging from independent consultants to multi-billion dollar corporations. Our emphasis on customer service has created a client base of around 700 companies, most of whom are continously working with WhiteStar to enhance their databases.
