Scanned USGS topo quad for San Patricio County, showing the complexity in a two square mile areaWhiteStar's Digital Elevation Data is based on the USGS National Elevation Database 30 meter grid. Elevation data are available in grid or vector form and can projected into user-specified coordinate systems, making them ideal for adding elevation contours to maps and orthophotos. Digital Elevation Models can be integrated with WhiteStar's Public Land Survey, Texas Land Survey, and Enhanced Culture Databases.

Data Source
WhiteStar's Digital Elevation Models (DEM) are based on the USGS National Elevation Database (NED) 30 meter grid.

Enhancement
WhiteStar has processed the data to remove banding artifacts and edge-match adjoining DEMs. Elevations are available in seamless gridded form or as vectors contoured to user specifications. WhiteStar uses ESRI GIS software to assign z-values and label contour lines. All elevation data can be reprojected into user-specified coordinate systems.
