WhiteStar's
State and County Line Database
is a seamless, high-resolution database of state and county boundaries
rectified to 7.5 minute USGS topographic maps. All boundaries precisely
overlay the Public Land Survey and Texas Land Survey grids, USGS Digital
Orthophotos, and USGS Digital Raster Graphs.
Data Source
WhiteStar's State and County Boundaries are digitized from USGS
7.5 minute 1:24,000 scale topographic maps.
Enhancement
Using
ESRI GIS technology, WhiteStar has created
clean polygonal
coverages
with attributes and map-friendly annotation. The resulting data provide
seamless coverage across states.
Content
Data layers include state and county boundaries attributed with FIPS
Code and state or county name.
